Objective
Create a digital platform to monitor and optimize container movement and yard operations in real time.
Process
The design process began with understanding the operational workflow and pain points of yard management, including container placement, movement tracking, and equipment utilization. I collaborated closely with business analysts and developers to define user requirements and translate complex operational scenarios into simple and efficient user flows. Through wireframing, prototyping, and iterative feedback sessions, the interface was refined to ensure usability, clarity, and operational efficiency.
Outcome
The final design delivered a streamlined and user-friendly platform that simplifies yard operations and enhances situational awareness. By providing real-time monitoring, intuitive dashboards, and optimized workflows, the system helps reduce operational complexity and improves productivity for port management teams. This project also strengthened my ability to design enterprise-level systems that balance business goals with user needs.
